Snow Factor is the perfect place to learn how to ski . Our guaranteed snow conditions mean you can learn anytime, day or night!
Our team of qualified ski instructors will welcome you to the slope and guide you through every step of learning snow sports from fitting your boots correctly and finding your balance all the way through to your first smooth turns on the main slope.
Our lessons are tailored to ensure you get the most out of you time spent with us and have you mountain ready in no time
So what will you learn?
Skills 1: Introduction to skiing
At this stage you will become familiar with the equipment, comfortable sliding around on your skis and practice snowploughs.
Skills 2: Introduction to turning
At this stage you will develop your first turns and progress to start linking your turns together
Skills 3: Control of turning
This stage develops your turns and introduces varying speed and size of turns.
Skills 4: Introduction to the main slope
At this stage you will develop control of speed and size of turns in preparation for a halfway .
Skills 5: Starting parallel
This stage will work on matching your skis parallel and introduce you to a steeper slope.
Once you have completed all of the above we suggest you get some practice! Lift passes are available at our ticket desk for you to pull together all your newly acquired skills!

We have different options available to suit your life style so you can learn at your own leisure, from single lessons with a group, private lessons, fastrack lessons and ski / snowboard in a day for those looking to learn quickly!

TEACHING
To ensure the safety of all slope users, no-one other than our fully qualified Snow Factor instructors are permitted to teach or provide coaching on the dedicated lesson slope or main slope at any time.
Instruction, Coaching and Development at Snow Factor are provided by Snow Factor Training Ltd. Snow Factor Training was established to foster and develop access to winter sports. We do this in conjunction with our partners at BASI and DSUK. Our objectives include;
- To provide training and tuition to the public in relation to snow sports
- To foster and develop amongst the public skills in relation to snow sports
- To promote safety and awareness of snow and ice environments to the public
- To provide education to the public in relation to snow sports.
