Over the 8 hour lesson ( with a lunch and refreshment breaks) we will aim to cover:

  • How to use and set up your equipment,
  • How to use a snowplough to control your speed
  • Learn about turn shape and how to control speed during turns and linking your turns
  • You will be introduced to riding the Poma lift to half way and practice linking your turns from halfway on the main slope.
  • Once you have completed your Ski in a Day lesson you are ready to progress to Skills 4 , skiing from the top of the main slope.

About Fast Track Lessons

In this 4 hour lesson you complete Snow Factor beginner skills levels 1 + 2. You will learn most of the basics from how to use the equipment and controlling your speed to learning about turn shape. As the lesson progresses you’ll also learn how to control speed during turns and linking your turns. After you have completed this lesson you will only need to complete 1 more lesson ( skills 3) before you know all the basics!
